Post Questions Here

Post at least one (or as many as you like), of those questions, concepts, jobtasks, etc., that you’d like this MOOC to dive deep into.

I'd really like to see system and battery bank sizing covered thoroughly during the #SolarMOOC

I second that. I would actually like to see a flow chart on the calcs, with the ability to remove the battery bank. A flow of the calcs would be a great help to me. And Solar Design Grounding! With Diagrams, i love diagrams. They are great learning tools. Thanks Are we supposed to #SolarMOOC tag here also?

I would also like to see battery bank sizing and go over calcs in the #SolarMOOC. Thanks

Could use some reviewing on wire sizing, OCPD Sizing, and Voltage drop

Stand alone overall system design, specifically battery bank sizing, was one thing that was on the entry level exam in quite a few questions. I would like to understand it better as well.

Charge controllers are another system component that I would like o review.

We should do the inter-row spacing calculation.... I hear it's a popular question.

I would request that you cover how to best provide a reasonable level of lightening protection on solar installations. i.e. using Delta brand protectors or something in similar price range. Best location (string junction box, breaker panel (AC using micro inverters) Main AC disconnect, and Main breaker panel).

I would also like some in depth coverage of batteries and charge controllers and charge units ie explanation of what a "C/10" is.

I think this is wonderful that ...

"SolPowerPeople offers FREE (Solar) Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), that are designed for anyone and everyone interested in the Solar PV Industry, especially for those who seek NABCEP, Rise, or UL Certification. This is a very collaborative effort amongst leading professionals in the solar industry, and all the active participants from around the world." About #SolarMOOC Academy

Another topic of interest would be PV systems > 1000V > 600V?
